1891 - Masaru Inoue founded Koiwai Farm
1898 - Hisaya Iwasaki succeeds to the farm.
- Livestock breeding was started.
- An executive of Shimofusa Imperial Stock Farm was hired as farm management executive.
- Afforestation project was started.
1899 - 1908: Cowsheds were built in the Kamimaru area.
1901 - Sire and dam of Holstein, Ayrshire and Brown Swiss were imported from the Netherlands,England and Switzerland respectively. Rams and ewes of Shropshire were imported from England.
1902 -Sale of sour cream butter (fermented butter) was started.
- Horse breeding was started.
1903 - Old head office building was constructed.
1904 - Horse tramway was built inside the farm.
1905 - gNatural refrigeratorh was built.
1907 - Thoroughbred breeders were imported from England.
- Brick silo was built
1909 - approximately 1,000 hectares of afforestation was achieved.
1916 - Four-story Granary was built.
1933 - Kabutoyama became the Japan derby race champion from Koiwai Farm.
1938 - KOIWAI FARM, LTD. was founded.
1941 - A race horse, St. Light, became the first triple-crown winner from Koiwai Farm.
1948 - Koganei Farm was founded. (Moved to Sayama in Saitama Prefecture as Tokyo Factory in 1966)
1949 - Horse breeding was terminated.
1950 - 1,039 chobu (approximately 1,000 hectares) of farm land was given up by this year.
1958 - Operation of the horse tramway was terminated.
1962 - Poultry breeding was started.
1965 - Koiwai Nosan Ltd. was established.
1967 - Tourism business was started.
1972 - Landscape engineering division started.
1976 - Dairy production section was separated, and Koiwai Dairy Products Co., Ltd. was established as a merged company with Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd.
1977 - Koiwai Farm Service Company, LTD. was established with 100% investment from KOIWAI FARM, LTD.
1978 - Koiwai Factory of Koiwai Dairy Products was founded within the farm premise.
1980 -Technical Research Center was founded.
1992 - Tsurugadai Dairy Barns was built.
1993 - The park of the Tourism Department was established as Koiwai Farm Makiba-en.
- Makiba no Tenmon-kan (astronomical facility) opened.
1995 - Iwate Moku Art K.K. (Donguri Korokoro) was founded in cooperation with Iwate Forestry Association, etc.
- Human resource business was started at Koiwai Nosan, Ltd.
1996 - Nine buildings on the farm were designated as national tangible cultural properties.
1998 - Sales of Koiwai Farm Eggs started. 
- Sales of farm products fully started.
2001 - ISO14001 certificate was acquired.
- Cake and bread factory of Koiwai Farm Service Company, LTD. was built within the farm premise.
2002 - ISO 9001 certificate was acquired. (Environmental Restration and Landscape Engineering Division)
- Koiwai Freminar (restaurant) opened at
Marunouchi Building in Tokyo
2003 - Arboretum was opened.
